Audio Final

In my final project, I took into consideration all of my critiques and comments from my rough draft. There were multiple things that I ended up changing. The first thing was the sound at the beginning and the end of the audio. In my draft I attempted to add it on but it didn’t end up working, but I was able to fix this and add baseball sounds both at the beginning and the end of me talking. Another thing that I added was sound in the background of my main audio. I was able to record a 30 second clip of a practice and repeated this 2 ½ times throughout the main audio in order to have some background noise. I added this as a layer beneath the audio in Adobe Audition with the media maker. There was also some silence at the beginning that I ended up taking away. Another big thing that I got comments back on was the ending. The ending in the original clip cut out so I decided to end it earlier to have a smoother transition between the end and the sound rather than just coming to an abrupt end. I did this by clipping the sound bite back 12 seconds. I got the sounds from the baseball games on a website called https://freesound.org which is protected by the creative commons law. The overall inspiration for this topic was my daily life and what I do each and every day. I got the idea to talk about it from a podcast from ‘cutternation’ (which is a baseball podcast) and one of the guests talked about his biggest differences from college ball to pro ball. This gave me the idea due to the fact of how hectic and crazy our lives can be, especially when we are on the road.
