Final Logo Project

For my final logo, I took in consideration from all of the comments that I was given. Most of the critiques that I received had to do with either color or based on how busy the logo was. One thing that I did was take out the baseball that was previously in the upper right-handed corner. I took this out for two reasons. The first reason was because to me, it made the overall logo look cluttered. Along with the logo looking cluttered, the word ‘baseball’ was already used in the middle with ‘baseball facility’ so I didn’t feel a need to keep the ball itself. A second change that I made was to create more color in the logo. I added a bright red to the ‘C’ and the ‘B’ in my name, along with the baseball player at the bottom of the plate. One minor change that I made was shifting everything either up or to the side in order to fill up empty space and to be able to make the ‘EST. 2019’ larger due to comments that I received about scaling. As a whole, I decided to create a thicker outline of the base in order to give the overall logo more pop. I felt that with a thin line, the logo was missing something but making it thicker gave it a better feel. My inspirations for the project came from two main companies. One company that has a logo that inspired me was TLB (https://www.thelostbreed.com/) and this is where the main source of ideas came from for me. At the top of the logo, I have my initials in large letters with the rest of my name in smaller letters following it, this idea came from Rijo Athletics (https://www.rijoathletics.com/) where they have the larger letters, but I added my own spin by completing my name. Overall, I tried to keep the logo very similar to my original one, but creating less clutter and more pop.
